“Annual Report” is a comprehensive report that a Public Company issues once a year to its Stockholders and other potential Investors. The Annual Report documents in detail the Public Company’s financial performance, market segment information, new product research and development plans and other material information relevant to the Public Company. Most Public Companies must file an Annual Report with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which can be found on the SEC’s EDGAR database.
Annual Report also refers to the annual filings that companies make with state regulators.
